Quite interesting because if all one ever did was listen to the news and other financial pundits then you would surely think that Gold(inflation trade) and Emerging Markets (commodity trade) would be making new highs. They Are Not. Good Ol' Fashion U.S stocks are leading the market higher. Why? Could be a number of reasons: stronger u.s economic data, stronger dollar, deadlock in washington. Investors shouldn't focus on the reason why. They should focus on the price action right in front of them.
