  1. very interesting. i never looked at the mississippi river disaster in this way. do you see this affecting us long term?

  2. Long term, No. This will definitely hurt the U.S Economy in the short term; supply shortages, higher commodity prices, lost wages, higher government deficits (someone has to pay for it) etc. Should be fine long term. (damon)
